    FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup 2024 attracts record-breaking viewership and digital engagement

    VIENNA (Austria) - The FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup 2024, held in downtown Vienna from 22-25 August, has set new benchmarks for digital engagement and viewership, underlining the success of this competition.  

    VIENNA (Austria) - The FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup 2024, held in downtown Vienna from 22-25 August, has set new benchmarks for digital engagement and viewership, underlining the success of this competition.  

    FIBA 3x3's digital channels drew more than 30 million social media impressions, while digital engagements surpassed 1.1 million. Additionally, the 3x3 Europe Cup 2024 videos generated 524,000 views on YouTube, a significant increase of 189% compared to 2023 and 102% compared to 2022. The tournament's online popularity also translated into a surge in new subscribers, with a 198% increase in 2024 compared to the previous year. The total number of views generated by the competition was over 23.5M

    The geographic reach of the FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup 2024 was equally impressive. While Serbia maintained its top spot as the country with the most viewers, Germany, the United States, Austria, and the United Kingdom made significant strides, entering the top 10 audience list for the first time.

    As the FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup continues to evolve, it is clear that the sport's digital presence will play a crucial role in its global expansion.  

    The 10th edition of the FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, in September 2025 at the City Hall Square, in the heart of the city.
